The first chapter of the Future Builders of America was established at Lely High School in Naples, Florida in 2003. With the support of the members and staff of the Collier Home Builders Association, and Greg Foote, Director of Lely High School Construction Academy, students were given a new horizon beyond the classroom.
The Collier County Education Foundation recognized the Collier Builders Industry Association’s partnership with Lely Construction Academy by awarding them the prestigious “Partners in Education” Award. This award highlights local companies and associations who have provided outstanding educational opportunities to Collier County students.
